The collective

SANSPERTE_LOSSLESS is a collective made up of sound and visual artists who first and foremost seek to extract from sound and visual materials the qualities that allow the experience of impressionistic sensations, evocative of the unconscious mind that inhabits us all. Through sound samples, acoustic instruments and transformed imagery that suggest memories of a real world, they weave captivating and abstract landscapes that go beyond their concrete origins. They seek to give audiences the freedom to imagine untold sensory and emotional stories, buried deep in everyone's mind.

Responses | ADRIEN BARRETTE-LAUZON

Responses, whose real name is Adrien Barrette-Lauzon, is a Montreal artist with more than 10 years of playing guitar and drums as well as 7 years of experience in composition. Self-taught, his atypical career allowed him to develop a singular musical identity. Refusing to limit himself to one particular style, he essentially revolves around the world of ambient music while incorporating a wide variety of influences at the heart of each of his creations. In particular, we recognize sounds from jazz, post-rock and even metal, reworked to create original immersive and bewitching atmospheres. Personally using his guitar for therapeutic purposes, his creations are both a window on his own emotions and an invitation to undertake an inner journey beneficial to anyone who lets himself be carried away by music.

FRANCIS DROUIN

With a bachelor's degree in communication - interactive media creation profile (2021), Francis Drouin had the opportunity to deepen his technical knowledge in various audiovisual design softwares and in the fields of computer programming, video mapping and art. new media.

Having initially been interested in the design of generative and interactive sound systems, the 2020 pandemic gave him time to explore other avenues. Self-taught by nature, he began his research in order to master Touch Designer and thus reorient himself towards design and visual programming.

He particularly seeks to create natural textures that transcend their digital origin, and whose visual qualities are particularly reminiscent of the materiality of the visual arts.

Among his most recent projects, we find video design for the piece Lili et les corbeaux (Tenon Mortaise troupe), visual integration for Ondes Cérébrales (MassivArt, Alexandra Da Costa), as well as reactive lighting design for the Festival International de la Chanson de Granby.

ALEXANDRE PARISEAU

Recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in Interactive Media at UQÀM, Alexandre Pariseau dedicates his art to the search for the hard to transcribe, the instinctive and deeply sensitive perception that characterizes the relationship of living beings with the world. Working mainly in immersive, generative sound creation and interactivity, he seeks to grasp the physical experience of everyday life, notably through sound samples that he transforms and weaves in such a way as to form webs that are at the limit of the perceptible.

His work attaches particular importance to the phenomena that emerge from the interaction between sounds: he seeks to extract atmospheres that are as harmonious as they are chaotic, which reveal the experience of the world of a being whose reason is blind and its life, sensitive.

His latest personal achievements include the design of generative instruments for the Atmosphéries project by Nicolas Reeves (Ph.D, UQÀM), as well as Ferveur, an interactive and generative musical installation created at UQÀM, winner of a NUMIX | Relève étudiante - Digital creation and presented in the spring of 2021 thanks to the support of the PLAN (Pôle lavallois d’enseignement supérieur en arts numériques et économie créative).
